Denis Couillard - Bio

Denis was last seen on stage playing Lafew and the Duke of Florence in Shakespeares' All's Well That Ends Well.  Other recent credits include Oscar Remembered  by Maxim Mazumdar (Bosie) and Michel Tremblay's La Duchesse De Langeais in Florida. 

Denis has written and performed two one man shows; Safe Word at Montreal’s Harvest Festival winning the “Best New Original Script” award and Exit This Way in theatres across Canada to critical acclaim.  Other acting credits include: The Proposal (Lomov) and The Evils Of Tobacco (Nyukhin) for Acanthus Theatre, Exploration (Professor Lewis) and Just Another Tuesday Night At The Meat Rack (George) for Village Scene Productions and The Seagull (Trigoran), ASM Productions.  Denis was a member the Ante Chamber Playwrights Unit at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre where he developed his new play Bare Back which he hopes to produce next year.
